We would like to invite you to the opening of the exhibition ‘Ceramics on a Pedestal’ (Keramiek op het voetstuk). It features work by participants of the ‘Ceramics on a Pedestal’ summer workshop, led by Tilmann Meyer-Faje. This exhibition showcases the many other possibilities of ceramics!
During the ‘Ceramics on a Pedestal’ Summer workshop, participants designed and built their own pedestals to complement their sculptures. The pedestal could be made of clay—thereby becoming part of the sculpture itself—or crafted from wood or another material. This resulted in some surprising artworks.
The festive opening takes place on Friday, September 4, at 6:00 PM at Mauritskade 24. Afterward, the exhibition can be viewed daily during our opening hours until September 18.
